has emerged as one of San Diego's finest tango DJs. She will transport you through the evening with her wonderfully selected tandas.
is a frequent DJ at tango events around Colorado, including the Denver Tango festivals. In partnership with his wife Shaun, he has been a host of Milonga Tipica that became a popular event in Boulder, featuring key attributes of festive Buenos Aires milongas. Martin specializes in traditional music and carefully considers the emotional impact of his selections on the dancers. Known for his extensive, high quality collection of tango music, Martin develops a milonga to drive the dancing experience to its peak and subsequent release.
was one of the key instructors and DJs in the Ann Arbor tango community. He is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He teaches the traditional Milonguero style of dancing that employs subtle body movements to generate complex choreography in a compact space. His classes have a strong emphasis on Connection, Musicality and Navigation that help students to quickly grasp the fundamentals of social dancing.
has been fascinated by tango and continuously tries to expand his understanding of this complex art form. He strongly believes that appropriate music is a critical factor for an emotionally fulfilling evening of dancing and he aims to achieve exactly that with his music selections. has been dancing Argentine Tango for over 10 years. Her dance and music background also includes ballet, jazz, hip-hop, African, AfroCuban and swing. She has been a tango DJ and milonga promoter for over 7 years in the San Diego area. Among her invaluable contributions to the San Diego tango community are the Tango Addicts Milonga (tangoaddicts.org), maintaining the tangosandiego.com web site, managing the San Diego Tango Yahoo Group, , and teaching free absolute beginner tango classes to create new tango addicts.
has been extensively studying the music, composers, band leaders, and styles in order to create a pleasant and positive atmosphere at the milongas. During his Dj-ing Varo pays close attention to the dancers and to the energy of the milonga.
